National Network of Online Sports Communities

The leading web property for high school and college Lacrosse was driven to migrate to a new social platform and expand into additional sports, including football and basketball. Enable was engaged to design and develop this new social platform to attract and service a variety of school sports communities, incorporating features such as forums, photos, scores, schedules, news and user-generated content.

Enable provided technical leadership, architecture and development expertise to create a scalable Open Source (Linux, PHP, MySQL) social platform. The flexible services architecture created by Enable provides a multi-sport data model that is highly scalable to support the demands of a very active community.

The result of the project is creation of a flexible platform that gained audience through a sports rating and ranking capability. The highly successful site has since been acquired by a major sports company and now handles up to 20 million page views per month.
